Between Exposure and Shelter

​​

I work with materials and the possibilities that emerge in the encounter between them. Functions such as protecting, gathering, and holding together become visible within the work. I work in the tension field between painting and sculpture. The form arises in the meeting between control and collapse, the raw and the elegant, the fragile and the aggressive. The works balance between dissolution, resistance, and displacement, where the materials both support and oppose one another.

Mellem blottelse og beskyttelse

​

Jeg arbejder med materialer og de muligheder, der opstår i mødet mellem dem. Funktioner som at beskytte, samle og holde sammen bliver synlige i værket. Jeg arbejder i spændingsfeltet mellem maleri og skulptur. Formen opstår i mødet mellem kontrol og sammenbrud, det rå og det elegante, det skrøbelige og det aggressive. Værkerne balancerer mellem opløsning, modstand og forskydning, hvor materialerne støtter og modarbejder hinanden.
